Boys will be boys!

Well, another CBD adventure today as I found my way to “Burger Boys” in Little Lonsdale Street. I have been keen to try this place for a while after reading plenty of good reviews about it, so was pleased to finally get there. With only a sign on the door distinguishing it, you’d probably walk straight past it unless you knew it was there though.

The choice was easy – “the Classic” with 150g patty, American high-melt cheese, streaky bacon, mustard, ketchup, tomato, red onion, lettuce, mayo and pickle on the side. I was feeling particularly hungry, so I added another patty and extra cheese!!

This was a good tasting burger, with the combo of flavours working well together. However, the patty was very crumbly and didn’t hold together well at all. It fell apart more with each bite, turning into more of a loose meat sandwich experience.

Chips on the side were tasty, and despite the wide range of craft beers on offer, I went for the standard Corona to compliment the meal!

Well known place and good value for money, so if you’re in the city, give it a go!
